One of the largest tamples of Cambodia, the ancient Prasat Beng Mealea, which is smaller than Angkor Wat, is located 77 km from the town of Siem Reap. The tour starts at any time in the morning, by car or minivan; accompanied by a guide we move to the East. The road to the temple will take about 1.5 hours. Due to the remoteness of the temple from the main group of Angkor, work on its arrangement and restoration is not carried out as quickly as in Angkor Wat or Bayon and this gives rise to such an advantage as a more natural look of the temple, which is 900 years old.

Prasat Beng Mealea is located 7 km from the Kulen Mountain, another attraction. In the past it was the heart of the Khmer Empire. You can visit the waterfalls in the morning and get to Beng Mealea in the afternoon, of course you need to calculate your strength since you will have to walk a lot.
